Nineteen fun-filled cooking adventures are listed below. For the next twelve weeks, I will be posting at least one recipe per week on Sundays. When a recipe is posted it will be linked in this menu so all you have to do is click on the date to the right of the item to see it. Other than that, the rules are that every recipe must cost less than 18 dollars for an entire day’s worth of food from it and require no more than 15 minutes of total preparation time including clean-up (though cooking times will vary). Enjoy!

Note: If you are surprised by the phrases I use to describe these dishes when you hear things like “oh my god so healthy” and “jeez I’m getting ripped by eating this stuff”, you should really check out the work of Dave Asprey and Armi Legge in their attempts to bring low-toxin ketogenic eating protocols to the mainstream public at http://www.bulletproofexec.com/the-complete-illustrated-one-page-bulletproof-diet/
The site overall is product of Dave Asprey’s obsessive quest to optimize his health after 18 years ago he was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, told he was in the highest risk factor class of just about every known Western disease we have, and also weighed 300 lbs which put him in the definitively obese range.
Other areas of the BulletProofExec site (www.bulletproofexec.com) make some rather extreme-sounding claims in areas like cognitive enhancement through N-Back training that I have yet to vet for myself, but I can say with full confidence I think the “Bulletproof Diet” section and especially the ideas behind the info-graphic are really damn sound and the best thing out there by far in terms of a detailed one-size-can-fit-all nutrition plan.
Until the next feasting!
